Hello and Welcome to Kalrissan Rottweilers. My name is Annette Bird and this page is where I get to tell you a little about myself, my achievements and my aims. I have always enjoyed the showring and whilst still at school showed Appaloosa Horses. In 1987 I bred the "High Point Halter Colt" for that year by the name of "Sudden Impact". Having an interest in all things medical, I completed Veterinary Nurse training in 1988 and then went on to complete General Nursing Training in 1993. Currently I am the Clinical Nurse Consultant for the Acute Pain Service at the Gold Coast Hospital. I have been involved with Rottweilers since 1985 and showed my first rottie in 1986. |

| In 1988 I bred my first litter which produced KALRISSAN KOTAR YASMIN, our first of many home grown Champions. 1988 also saw KATHJEAN LADI KARA, the first of my two foundation bitches, attain her Championship Title with the second, BULLWEILER DONNA, attaining her title in 1989. Producing dogs of sound mind and body is taken very seriously. I am equally emphatic about temperament, type and necessary health checks. My puppies are house reared and are well socialised at an early age to people as well as other animals. All of my breeding stock, including pet placement puppies, are x-rayed and scored for both Hip and Elbow Dysplasia and have Eye and Mouth Certificates. My dogs share my home and are a part of my family. I never have more than five dogs at any one time and currently live with three Rottweilers and a twelve year old Chihuahua as seen above with two of her old friends.
